Nive River Bridge

Nive River Bridge is a single span structure built by contract in 1933-34 and is located on the Lyell Highway at Bronte. It consists of a single lane concrete deck supported by two welded steel Pratt deck trusses of 30.5 metre length. The foundations consist of two high-level concrete abutments. This bridge replaced a timber bridge which had reached the end of its useful life.
