Boulder Subway
From Engineering Heritage Australia
The Boulder Subway was constructed to enable traffic to pass under the Golden Mile Loopline railway. It is located just to the north of Boulder Station. The railway is no longer in operation.
Further information on Boulder Station and the Loopline Railway are available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boulder_railway_station.
In 1993 Jim Paton was commissioned to prepare a Conservation Plan and a copy is available here. This document provides detailed drawings, maps and photographs of the original rail bridge over the road.
