AVERY, Phillip Joseph BE FIEAust (1908-1989)
Phillip Avery joined the WA Public Works Department in 1934. He subsequently moved to Victoria where he became the Deputy Chief Engineer of the State's Forest Commission. By 1946 had been promoted to Principal Engineer WA, Commonwealth Department of Housing and Works.
Avery died in South Australia on March 4, 1989.
