KBR was initially known as Kellogg Brown & Root, it is a US-based company focused on technology and engineering. It was founded in 1998 when M.W. Kellogg merged with Halliburton's construction subsidiary. KBR was the overall winner of the engineering excellence award for their work on the Angel Project in 2009 alongside the companies Woodside, Organisation:JP_Kenny, Transfield Worley and WorleyParson.
