Professor Jamalipour is Professor of Ubiquitous Mobile Networking at the University of Sydney and a global leader in wireless communications. An IEEE and Engineers Australia Fellow, he has authored nine books, more than 650 papers and holds five patents. His pioneering work has advanced mobile networks, WiFi security, satellite communications and disaster resilient connectivity, earning him international recognition and numerous awards. With more than 22,000 citations, he has shaped both research and practice worldwide. A former President of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society, Professor Jamalipour is also celebrated for his mentorship, inspiring the next generation of telecommunications engineers. |

Geoff Sizer is the founder of Genesys Electronics Design, a medical device and IoT electronics and software development company in Sydney. He is a registered professional engineer, Engineers Australia Fellow and former Chair of the ITEE College. For more than 25 years he has been an active Engineers Australia member, and of the IREE beforehand. He has held multiple leadership positions at Engineers Australia and the IREE. Since graduating from the University of Adelaide, Geoff has spent his career as a hands-on design engineer and engineering team leader, developing a multitude of commercially successful products. He is named as inventor on 16 patents. |
