Neville D Chidgey

Neville D. Chidgey was a consulting engineer to the banking industry, Chief Engineer Consultant to the Commonwealth Development Bank, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Hambro-Grantham Ltd. He was a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, and an Honorary Governor of the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering.

The title of Honorary Fellow of the University was conferred upon Neville D Chidgey in recognition of his services to the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering at a conferring of degrees ceremony held in 1989. Mr Chidgey, Chief Engineer consultant to the Commonwealth Banking Corporation, was a member of the University's Engineering Centenary Committee from 1979, Deputy Chairman of the Warren Centre Appeal Committee from 1981, and a member of the Board of the Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering from 1982 and its chairman from 1984.
